The Fenner Nature Center will be holding their Maple Syrup Festival on Saturday, March 14th from 11 am until 5 pm. There's all sorts of fun things for the family to do at the festival including the chance to learn about the history of making maple syrup with hands-on demonstrations throughout the day. According to their Facebook page, "you can even try your hand at tapping a tree or test your sap-carrying strength at the yoke lift station."

Now, here's the part about the pancakes. While you're at the event you can support the Fenner Conservancy by purchasing a ticket for “Flapjacks for Fenner,” which is their pancake breakfast fundraiser. Tickets are $10 for ages 5+ and $5 for kids 5 and under, and all proceeds go directly to support the nature center. Tickets include "All-You-Can-Eat, high-flying pancakes served by Chris Cakes, as well as a side of sausage, glass of orange juice, and coffee."
