Mad Dog talks Max Scherzer, Tigers with Lynn Henning
Contract negotiations have apparently broken down between Max Scherzer and the Detroit Tigers. The team announced this weekend it had made a significant contract extension offer to Scherzer, whose deal runs out after this season, but the right-hander turned it down.
