I am 54 years old, I have followed Robin Williams career since he played Mork on Mork and Mindy. Yesterday at his home Robin Williams was found dead from an apparent suicide. This world has lost a comedic genius as well as an Oscar-winning actor.

Depression in this world is a very terrible thing. It leads to a lot of potential destructive things: death, murders, trouble and suicides.

Williams had a history of addiction problems. He had just gotten out of rehab not too long ago. How could this happen, where a very talented, wealthy comedian and movie star is that depressed? This man had it all, so it seemed. It just proves that money and fame doesn't bring you happiness.

From a man who loves great comedians, Robin Williams will go down as one of the greatest ever. In my book, Don Rickles, Jackie Gleason, Richard Pryor, George Carlin are just a few of the all-time greatest.

Robin Williams will be always known for his rolls in Mrs. Doubtfire, Good Morning Vietnam, Good Will Hunting, Dead Poets Society, Patch Adams, and of course Mork and Mindy. He did numerous events benefitting young comics and charities around the country. This man will be missed and I know the world lost one funny cat!
