Mad Dog Reflects on How Lucky He’s Been in Life

I am a 62-year-old baby boomer, and I have lived during a great time in the history of this country. Now that my wife and I are moving, I plan to stay around for a while.

I have witnessed some unbelievable things during my life. I saw the Rolling Stones at the Silverdome, Rod Stewart in Las Vegas, Bob Dylan at Western Michigan University, The Blues Brothers at Pine Knob, and Alice Cooper in his personal RV. I had Ted Nugent live in the studio with me along with Jon Lovitz, Kevin Nealon, Steve O, and a herd of other celebs.

I just saw Miggy get his 3000^th hit and I watched the Detroit Tigers win the 1984 World Series.

I was lucky enough to finally get married after 54 years to a wonderful lady who I care for more than she will ever know.

I have watched some of the greatest athletes play sports in person or on television, which has been mesmerizing to me. Today’s athletes are very puzzling to me. Most of them just don’t get it! You can figure out what I mean.

Moving to Alabama is going to be a game and life changer that I am looking forward to.

I have become friends over the years with Tom Izzo, who is just a solid cat that would have been a great big brother. I have some of the best friends and family any man could ask for. And I have a great doggie named Missy from Nassau, Bahamas. I am a very lucky man.

The future looks great, and I can’t wait!
