I really love when I get a chance to visit Michigan International Speedway. The place is like Disney World, there's something for everyone. It's a fun time for the whole family with a great atmosphere and constant activity.

When I was there for the Firekeepers Casino 400 in June, I enjoyed every facet of Michigan International Speedway. The track itself is absolutely incredible. It's vast and very impressive. The track is big enough on its own, but then you also have where the fans sit. The whole place is just absolutely massive.

I really enjoyed walking around the track and seeing up close and personal how the whole operation works. I was mesmerized by the intensity and cohesion of the pit crews. The drivers are another story. They're riskin’ their lives for money and prestige.

If you haven’t been to a race yet, I’m telling you this is somewhere you need to go. It’s a well oiled machine all the way around the track.

The next big event at Michigan International Speedway is the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series practice and qualifying on Friday, August 9th. Then there's the Corrigan Oil 200 on Saturday, August 10th and the grand finale of the 2019 Michigan International Speedway racing season, the Consumers Energy 400 on Sunday, August 11th!
