M.I.S. Track Laps Allows Fans To Drive Laps On The Track
Before the race weekend begins on Friday, Michigan International Speedway is letting fans drive laps at the speedway with track laps.
According to Michigan International Speedway, track laps will be on Thursday, August 8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Track Laps is the chance for fans to drive three laps in their own vehicle around the speedway. It is $40 for three laps.
The only downside is that you have to drive a speed limit of 55 and you will be paced by a pace car. The other option for driving fast is if you participate in the various driving schools at the track like the Rusty Wallace Racing Experience.
Availability for track laps is limited so fans are encouraged to purchase their time ahead.
