The Detroit Lions have worked out a trade where they'll send restricted free agent defensive lineman George Johnson to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The 27 year old had six sacks for the Lions last season.

The Bucs signed Johnson to a 3 year, $9 million offer sheet last week.  The Lions contested the terms of the offer, and today agreed to a swap.

Johnson played in 11 games from 2010-13.  Tampa Bay originally signed Johnson as an undrafted free agent in 2010.
