Lions To Practice With World Champion Patriots

Future Hall of Fame coach of the New England Patriots Bill Belichick announced at a press conference on Wednesday that the World Champs will hold joint practices with the Detroit Lions in Allen Park next month.

The Pats and Lions are slated to play each other during Week 3 of the preseason at Ford Field on August 25th.  Lions executive Bob Quinn is a former executive with the New England Patriots.

Detroit has their first full practice on Sunday, they open preseason play on August 13th against the Indianapolis Colts.
