The Detroit Lions beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers today at Ford Feild, 34-17. The Lions got on the board in the 1st quarter when Matthew Stafford threw a 8 yard pass to Calvin Johnson for a TD. Matt Prater kicked a good PAT. In the second, the Buccaneers got on the board with a 54 yard field goal, kicked by Patrick Murray. The Lions responded with another TD made by Joique Bell. The Lions added onto their lead with a 48 yard Prater FG, but the Bucks scored the last TD of the half when Josh McCown made a 5 yard pass to Mike Evans, making the score 17-10 Detroit going into halftime. In the 3rd, Prater kicked a 23 yard FG, and Stafford threw a 10 yd pass to Joseph Fauria for a TD, giving the Lions a 27-10 lead going into the final quarter. McCown made a 26 yard pass to Evans for another TD, to get the 4th started. Bell made a 5 yard TD pass, giving the Lions the 17 point lead back, and the victory.
