There isn't much for Lions fans to complain about when you're 8-4 and leading your division, except for injuries.

Detroit overcame the early suspensions to start the season and now the grind of a grueling NFL season is starting to show as Quandre Diggs is out for the season. The starting nickel cornerback suffered a pectural injury in the third quarter of Detroit's victory of New Orleans on Sunday.

Diggs has appeared in the first 28 games of his career since being drafted by the Lions in the sixth round in the 2016 draft.

It is unclear who will replace Diggs but you can expect to see the five-year veteran Bademosi Johnson and rookie Adairius Barnes compete for the job.
