Lansing United's men's soccer team won the Michigan Milk Cup championship on Wednesday afternoon with an exciting 3-2 victory over defending Milk Cup champion AFC Ann Arbor on Wednesday afternoon at Mason High School.

Former East Lansing HS star DeJuan Jones scored a pair of goals in the first half to give United a 2-0 lead as the game reached halftime.

United played a man down for the entire second half. And that led to a wild last ten minutes of action.  Three goals were scored during the last stretch of the game, all on penalty kicks.  Steve Pouna scored for United in stoppage time to provide the final margin of victory.

Lansing next plays on Saturday against the Derby City Rovers at the East Lansing Soccer Complex in Premier Development League (PDL) action.  Kickoff is set for 7:00pm.
