Lansing Mayor Schor Closes Operations Due To Weather

Because of the impending winter storm, Lansing Mayor Andy Schor announced early Monday morning that he has closed operations for the City of Lansing for Monday, January 28th.

The entire Mid-Michigan area is under a Winter Weather Advisory until 7pm Monday evening.  The oncoming storm is expected to dump 8-12 inches of snow on the area in the next 12-18 hours.  Motorists are advised to stay off the roads if at all possible.

The snow is in combination with frigid temperatures.  Wind chills could be -30 or below by Wednesday.
