Minor League Baseball will be getting started in April. There is one name synonymous with the Lansing Lugnuts, and that is Jesse Goldberg-Stassler.

Jesse has been the radio play-by-play guy for the Lugnuts for years. He was voted the Minor League Broadcaster of the year in 2019. I’m talking over every Minor League team in the USA. This young man is an absolute gem. I look at him as a diamond in the rough.

For any Major League team looking for that special radio or television broadcaster, he should be the guy.

Jesse Goldberg-Strassler is a special cat that has incredible knowledge of baseball and all sports. I am proud to call him my friend too.

The owners of the Lugnuts are Tom and Sherry Dixon. I know they realize they have a star in Jesse, but he should be with a parent team. He has paid his dues. I really do believe this!

So, if there are any teams out there reading this, do your homework and give this man a shot with a parent team. I know it’s just not knowledge but he has the total package for a Major League team. The only bad part is Lansing would be losing one if not the best Minor League Broadcaster in the USA.

All I can say is Lansing is very lucky to have him as the Lugnut’s radio personality!
