Former Lansing Everett basketball star Trevor Manuel mad a quick move to find a new home. After the announcement earlier this week that Manuel had asked for his immediate release from Dana Altman's Oregon Ducks basketball program, the freshman forward announced that he has committed to Loyola Marymount, according to mlive.com.

Moving around is nothing new to Manuel. His freshman year, Manuel came off the bench for Lansing Sexton, splitting time down low with Jalen Hayes, now at Oakland. His sophomore year saw an increase in playing time at Sexton. Then, Manuel transferred to Virginia basketball factory Oak Hill Academy for his junior year, before returning to Lansing to play for Everett.

Manuel saw limited time at Oregon this season, playing in 9 of the team's 14 games, averaging just over 7 minutes per game.
