Lansing-Area HS Football Top 10 Poll – (After Week 7)
Congratulations to Mason and Portland for winning outright league titles this past week with victories in their respective leagues. Mason in the CAAC Red and Portland in the CAAC White.
East Lansing threw themselves back into the CAAC Blue race with a 39-26 road victory over Everett. Trojan running back Jace Clarizio score two 4th quarter touchdowns to give them the win.
And congratulations to Fowler for clinching a share of the CMAC title with their win at Potterville. They'll go for the outright title this week when they host Laingsburg.
DeWitt can clinch a share of the CAAC Blue title when they host Okemos. And Leslie will clinch a spot in the Cascades conference championship game if they can beat Grass Lake at home this week.
Other key games this week include: Everett at Holt, Walled Lake Western at Mason (in a rematch of their classic playoff game last year), Ionia at St. Johns, Sexton at Portland, P-W at Saranac, and Ovid-Elsie is at perennial power New Lothrop.
There are changes to the poll this week due to the results of last week. There are only four undefeated left in the area. DeWitt, Portland, Fowler, and Leslie. Those are now the top four as you can see below.
