Lansing-Area H.S. Football Top 10 Poll – (After Week 6)
Congratulations are in order for Mason and Portland. As they are the first schools to clinch at least a share of their league titles this fall.
Mason won a a share of the CAAC Red with their 40-10 victory over St. Johns on the road this past Friday. And Portland's easy win over Eaton Rapids combined with Olivet losing to Charlotte and Sexton losing to Ionia gave the Raiders a share of the CAAC White title.

But the big winner of the week was Fowler. They knocked off arch-rival Pewamo-Westphalia 14-11 to win The Milk Jug and take command in the CMAC. Two more league victories will give the Eagles the outright CMAC title.
The second big winner (not as big as Fowler, but still...) was Everett. They put themselves in position to win the CAAC Blue with a convincing 35-12 victory over Grand Ledge at Archie Ross Stadium. Senior QB Nizjai Davidson threw four touchdown passes to lead the Vikings to the win.
Some of the big games in Week 7 include: DeWitt at Grand Ledge, East Lansing at Everett, St. Johns at Haslett, Fowlerville at Mason, Portland at Charlotte, Ionia at Lansing Catholic, and Fowler at Potterville. In 8-Player football, 6-0 Portland St. Patrick heads to Fulton and Morrice is at Mt. Pleasant Sacred Heart.
We will have the East Lansing at Everett game this week on The Game 730 AM WVFN. Pregame coverage will begin at 5:00pm with a 6:00pm kickoff from Archie Ross Stadium. Brock Palmbos and Erik "Doc" Love have the call from Lansing's south side.
Ok, on with this week's rankings:
