The 288 team field for the Michigan high school football playoffs were announced on Sunday afternoon.

And 21 area teams have qualified for the postseason.  This coming weekend marks the district semifinal phase of the tournament.

This weekend's winners will advance to the district finals next weekend (November 8-9)

Regional finals are the following week.  And the state semifinals are on Saturday, November 23rd.

The state finals are, as always, on Thanksgiving weekend at Ford Field in Detroit.
