
Lansing-Area Girls H.S. Basketball Top 10 Poll – (January 21st)
We are now at the halfway point of the high school girls basketball season. And at the halfway point, only Pewamo-Westphalia in undefeated in the Lansing area.
Their 11-0 record has them atop the CMAC standings with an 8-0 league record.

There were two games that were played last week that stuck out over all the other ones. On Tuesday, DeWitt defeated CAAC Red leader Haslett 62-50 on the road. Senior guard Madi Uyl had 21 points and went 8-8 from the free throw line. Teammate Carly Dennis added 13 points and 14 rebounds.
The other notable game was on Friday. As CAAC White leader Portland won at CAAC Blue leader Holt 41-38. Leigha Roberson had 12 points and Lilly Thelen added 11 for the Raiders.
There are quite a few top games this week. On Tuesday, Holt is at Fowler and DeWitt is at St. Johns. On Friday, Lansing Christian is at P-W, Bath is at Fowler, Laingsburg is at Portland St. Patrick, and Holt is at DeWitt (that's for the CAAC Blue lead).
