We are now one week away from the beginning of the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) girls basketball tournament.  District action begins next Monday, with the regionals the following week.  It all culminates at the Breslin Center for the state semifinals and finals from March 16th-18th.

We lost our last undefeated team last Saturday as Haslett lost to Rockford on the road 50-36.  Despite that, Haslett remains at number 1 this week.  Why?  Because they beat Holt and Lansing Catholic on the road, and beat DeWitt at home.

In fact, the same ten teams that were in the poll last week are in the poll this week.  It's just that the order is a little bit different this week.

We've got a busy final week of games this week.  On Tuesday, Holt is at DeWitt (if Holt wins, they clinch the outright CAAC Blue title), Lansing Catholic hosts Division 3 state power Ypsilanti Arbor Prep, Fowler is at Portland, and Dansville can clinch the outright CMAC title if they beat Laingsburg on the road.

On Thursday, P-W is at Olivet while Grand Ledge goes to the U.P. to play Sault Ste. Marie.  Friday's games feature Portland at Lansing Catholic (if Catholic wins, they clinch the outright CAAC White title), Mason at  Holt, and Dansville at Portland St. Patrick.

And on Saturday, Olivet hosts Lakewood. If the Eagles win at home, they clinch the outright GLAC title.

We will have the Holt at DeWitt girls game as our Game of the Week this week.  Erik "Doc" Love joins Brock Palmbos from DeWitt HS for the coverage.  We'll hit the air at around 7:00pm.

Ok, on with this week's rankings:
