We have entered the final month of the girls basketball season in the state of Michigan.  Oh BTW, the girls state tournament starts on March 3rd.

We still have only one undefeated team in the Lansing area, and that is Pewamo-Westphalia at 14-0.  CAAC Blue co-leader DeWitt is 14-1 and CMAC arch-rival Fowler is 12-1.

CAAC Red leader Haslett won a battle of league leaders when they took down CAAC White leader Portland at home last week 59-38.  But it looks as if both teams will win their respective leagues this season.

The CAAC Blue will come down to DeWitt (8-1 league record), Holt (7-1), and East Lansing (6-2).  The lady Trojans could make it interesting as they play both Holt and DeWitt once more this season.

The CMAC will likely be decided on Wednesday night as the undefeated P-W Pirates visit the once-beaten (only loss to P-W) Fowler lady Eagles.

Big games this week include on Tuesday:  Holt at Rockford and Grand Rapids Covenant Christian at Portland.  On Wednesday, it's the aforementioned P-W at Fowler game.

On Thursday, East Lansing at Waverly and 14-2 Ovid-Elsie at Birch Run.  While on Friday, DeWitt hosts Sault Ste. Marie and Haslett visits 7-6 Fowlerville.

Brock Palmbos will recap everything this Saturday morning with High School Rewind.  Which airs every Saturday morning from 10-11am on The Game 730 AM WVFN.  We are you're continued trusted source for high school sports coverage.

Ok, on with this week's rankings:
