We saw a change in the top five this week, and that's because of Holt's exciting 55-53 home win over DeWitt to take over first place in the CAAC Blue.

We also saw a change in the bottom five of the poll, as Fowler makes their way back in after taking out Portland St. Patrick at home 51-44.

So there was some jostling this week.

Two teams in the poll that deserve special mention because they are on significant winning streaks are:  Lansing Catholic, who's won 11 straight games.  And Ovid-Elsie, who has 14 straight games.

And it goes without saying that Haslett has the longest streak, as they've won all 17 games they've played this season.

But the unbeaten Vikings have a tough game on Tuesday.  As they visit the red-hot Lansing Catholic lady Cougars.  That's easily the game of the week on the girls side.  Other games on Tuesday include Holt at Grand Ledge, Laingsburg at Portland, and Stockbridge at P-W.

On Wednesday, Holt is at Flint Carman-Ainsworth and Ovid-Elsie is at Linden.  On Thursday, Stockbridge is at Leslie.

Friday's action sees Haslett at Williamston for a share of the CAAC Red title.  Olivet will try to avenge their only league loss of the season when they host Lansing Christian, and Ovid-Elsie is at Durand.

There's only one game on Saturday, but DeWitt heads up north to play Traverse City Central..

And Brock Palmbos will recap everything on Saturday morning with another episode of High School Rewind.  Which airs from 10am-11am every Saturday morning during the basketball season on The Game 730 AM WVFN!

Ok, on with this week's rankings:
