Lansing-Area Boys H.S. Top 10 Basketball Teams (1-18-22)

We see a bit of a change in the rankings this week.  That's because after a two-week pause, Okemos got a huge 65-41 home victory over East Lansing last Thursday night.  Also, CAAC White leader Ionia was upset by Sexton 39-35 on Friday.  Also, Holt was knocked out of the poll after a pair of losses this past week.

We also see two teams enter the poll for the first time this season.  After a slow start, Division 4 quarterfinalist Webberville makes it in.  As does Waverly, who has won five straight games after starting 1-3.  Other teams that warranted consideration were P-W, Laingsburg, Perry, and Fowler.  They just missed the poll this week.

Some of the top games this week include:  Stockbridge at Leslie on Tuesday.  Okemos is at Everett on Thursday.  Lansing Catholic is at Ionia, Lakewood is at Stockbridge, and Perry is at Olivet.  All those games are set for Friday night.

We'll have a boys basketball game on our airwaves on Thursday night.  It will be either Grand Ledge at DeWitt, Waverly at Holt, or Okemos at Everett.  Brock Palmbos and Erik "Doc" Love will have the call, beginning with the pregame at around 7:00.
