It is the final week of the regular season and teams are gearing up for the annual state tournament, set to begin next Monday afternoon at 128 different sites all over the state of Michigan.

Only one team is undefeated right now, and that's Williamston at 19-0.  They go for a perfect season on Tuesday night when they host Lansing Everett.

After a trio of games on Monday, all the rest of the games this week will be on Tuesday and Thursday nights.  That's because of the MHSAA girls basketball tournament occurring on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday this week.

There's still some good games this week to wrap up the regular season.  On Tuesday, as mentioned earlier, Williamston goes for 20-0 when they host Everett.  Also, Sexton hosts Lansing Catholic, Olivet is at Bath.  And Eastern is at Grand Ledge.  On Thursday, Lansing Catholic is at Holt.  Bath is at Fowler, Eastern is at Okemos, and Grand Ledge is at Haslett.

Ok, on with this week's rankings:

Mid-Michigan High School Boys Basketball Top 10—3/1/22

Here's a look at the top 10 teams in the Lansing area in boys basketball.

We'll have the Everett at Williamston game on The Game 730 AM WVFN on Tuesday night.  Erik "Doc" Love and Brock Palmbos will have the call from Williamston Fieldhouse beginning at around 7:00.

And we'll have boys tournament action all next week.  We'll let you know later this week what specific games we'll be going to broadcast.  Tournament action starts next Monday and will culminate with the state finals at the Breslin Center in East Lansing from March 24th-26th.

Oh, and one more thing.  Many kudos to East Lansing, Williamston, Ionia, Olivet, Pewamo-Westphalia, Ovid-Elsie, and Webberville for winning their respective leagues this season.  Congrats to all of them!
