Lansing-Are H.S. Football Top 10 Poll – (After Week 3)
The CAAC Blue and Red leagues began conference play last Friday night. And in the game you heard on The Game 730AM, East Lansing rallied from an early 14-3 deficit to beat Grand Ledge 38-21. Senior RB Jace Clarizio rushed for over 200 yards and 3 touchdowns for the Trojans.
Portland rallied from behind to beat Ionia 42-21. WR Chris Battley had two TD catches for the Raiders. And Leslie HS sophomore sensation Joel Cranmore threw for 359 yards and five TD's in a blowout victory over Vandercook Lake. The Blackhawks are 3-0 to start the season.
There are eight undefeated teams left in 11-player football in the Lansing area: DeWitt, Everett, St. Johns, Portland, P-W, Fowler, Ovid-Elsie, and Leslie. Also, props to Morrice and Portland St. Patrick for being 3-0 in 8-Player football.
Some of the top games this week include: Hurricane (WV) at DeWitt, Holt at Grand Ledge, Mason at Haslett, Sexton at Charlotte, Leslie at Michigan Center. And in 8-Player football, Morrice is at Portland St. Patrick. This may be the best game out of all of them.
We will have the Holt at Grand Ledge game this Friday night. Brock Palmbos will have pregame coverage beginning at 6:00pm. And then Erik "Doc" Love joins in the broadcast just before 7:00pm.
And it's brought to you, as always, by Dowding Industries and the Lansing Sports Commission.
Ok, on with this week's rankings:
