Lansing-Area Boys Basketball Top 10 Poll – February 10th
Mason is the first team to clinch a league title, as they knocked off St. Johns 61-54 last Friday night at home. And congratulations to Mason senior Levi Stambaugh for crossing the 1,000 point career plateau.
The game of the week was last Friday as East Lansing won on KJ Torbert's two free throws with 4.4 seconds left to beat Waverly, 62-60.
Some big games this week. On Monday, Stockbridge is at Ovid-Elsie. Tuesday's action features Portland at Lansing Catholic. Thursday's games have Mason trying to clinch the outright CAAC Red title when they visit Fowlerville. And P-W hosts Bath.
Then on Friday, Okemos is at Waverly, Haslett is at Williamston, and Sexton hosts Ionia. There are even two games on Saturday, Sexton is at Eastern and Grand Ledge is at Mason in a makeup game from December.
We will have the Okemos at Waverly boys game this Friday night on The Game 730 AM WVFN. Brock Palmbos and Erik "Doc" Love will have the call from Phil Odlum Gymnasium at 7:00pm this Friday night.
