Lake Michigan Water Temperatures Dip Down Again
High winds coming from the northwest are causing some problems for beachgoers along Michigan's west coast shoreline. It's been a bit of a drop from the last few days.
The winds are occasionally stirring up some rip currents, and also mixing the water up. As a result, the colder water from the depths of Lake Michigan is getting distributed to the surface of the water. Sadly, if you were looking to go for a swim anytime soon, you might be out of luck, as the water takes a few days to heat back up.
