After the Detroit Tiger 2-1 victory over the Houston Astros on Wednesday night, star pitcher Justin Verlander (who took the loss in the game, pictured above) instructed Astros management to not allow a Detroit Free Press beat writer (reportedly Tigers beat writer Anthony Fenech) into the locker room to join the daily media scrum after the game.

He then followed up with this tweet:

Verlander, as you know, played for the Tigers from 2005-2017 before he was traded to the Astros. He helped them to a World Series championship in '17 and is having another great season.
