Roughly three weeks after he was hit in the face with a pitch, JaCoby Jones looks very close to returning to the Tigers lineup.

Jones while on rehab in Toledo hit a home run on Saturday during a 8-7 10-inning loss to Louisville. Jones' line on the day was 1-4 with a two run home run and two runs scored.

In seven games so far with Toledo Jones is slashing .240/.321/.440 with one home run and three RBIs.

Those numbers are an improvement on his Detroit numbers so far this season. In 16 games played in the majors Jones was slashing .150/.244/.300 with one homer and four RBIs.
