Multi-time All-Pro defensive lineman J.J. Watt (pictured) will sign with the Arizona Cardinals.  That's according to J.J. Watt himself:

Multiple NFL reporters say it's a two-year deal worth $31 million.  $23 million of that being guaranteed.  He was released by the Houston Texans back in February, at his request.

Watt joins former Texans teammate DeAndre Hopkins in the Valley of the Sun.  Hopkins was traded to the Cardinals this last off-season.  J.J. had spent his entire 10-year career with the Houston Texans.

The Cardinals just missed the NFL Playoffs in 2020 with an 8-8 record.  Watt will be counted on to provide a pass rush for one of the rising teams in the NFL.
