Rumors are flying in Fenton, Michigan about a new restaurant opening in the former Beale St. Smokehouse BBQ location on North Road.

The popular BBQ spot is now located at 1492 North Leroy Street in Fenton.

We have heard from various sources that a new food spot is moving in that will specialize in breakfast and lunch options only.

From that information, we speculate the place would be open early in the morning and close late afternoon. That is real food detective work right there.

Unfortunately, there is no word as to a name for the potential new spot or if it will be locally owned. Again, to be clear - or if this is even happening.

The location is ideal for a restaurant. The building is located just off US-23 on North Road (behind Smitty's Exit 80 Sunoco gas station).

The city of Fenton is certainly not lacking in restaurants, nonetheless, it is always nice to have another option. Not to mention, a new place brings new jobs to the area too.
