The Only Restaurant of Its Kind in Mid-Michigan is Opening in Okemos
The greater Lansing area has some awesome restaurants and eateries that we get to look forward to opening soon.
New Restaurants Opening in Lansing
The owners of The Old Bag of Nails are opening a new, fast-casual pizza eatery. A new cookie place, called Dunk'd, will open soon in the Red Cedar Development along Michigan Avenue across from Frandor.
And now Lansing's first and only Peruvian restaurant will follow suit.
Mid-Michigan's Only Peruvian Restaurant Opening a Brick-and-Mortar Location
According to the Lansing State Journal, the Peruvian cuisine restaurant, Tantay, has plans to open a brick-and-mortar location.

For some time now the owner, Jose Aste, has been operating Tantay out of the Allen Neighborhood Center's Accelerator Kitchen as well as a food truck. And now he's extremely excited to realize his dream of owning his own brick-and-mortar place.
When Will Tantay Open?
Jose plans on opening this new location sometime in December or January, so we don't have to wait long for deliciousness.
Here are the types of dishes you can look forward to;
potatoes topped with a zesty Peruvian huancaina sauce, ceviche, chicken stir fry with onions, peppers and Peruvian seasoning, and Aji de Gallina, a chicken stew in a creamy Peruvian sauce.
Where is Tantay Opening?
Tantay will be opening in Okemos on Jolly Road at the old Woody's Oasis location. The exact address: 2398 Jolly Road.
