Potter Park Zoo Plans Zoo Nights for Those 21 and Over

Because who doesn't want to kick back and have a beer with a spider monkey.

OK... not really. But Potter Park Zoo's "Zoo Nights" in 2023 promise a good time for adults to enjoy friends, fun and few adult beverages without the kids around. According to the Zoo's Facebook page, this will be the fourth installment of "Zoo Nights".

Here's how the Potter Park Zoo describes its "Zoo Nights":

Zoo Nights is a casual, happy hour-style event that will feature tastes from local restaurants and beverage companies. Take the opportunity to see the zoo after-hours, visit with the animals, and enjoy yard games with friends all while savoring tasty treats!

When are Potter Park Zoo's "Zoo Nights"?

The Potter Park Zoo currently has four "Zoo Nights" planned for 2023 - May 11, June 15, July 20, and August 17. Those are all Thursday nights. The zoo typically is open from 9am to 5pm during the summer months, however, it will remain open between 5pm and 8pm on these selected evenings for guests 21 years of age and older. Other Things to Know About "Zoo Nights"

Multiple local food and drink vendors are expected to be part of each Zoo Night. Ticket prices have not yet been announced for this year, but in past years the zoo has asked $15 for zoo members and $20 for non-members. Guests get a few drink tickets upon entry, and can buy more. Although they're not on-sale for 2023 just yet, buying your tickets in advance is recommended. Some "Zoo Nights" have sold out.
