Lansing Has a New Eatery Inside a Gas Station

There's a new place to grab a bite to eat in Lansing. This time, inside a gas station.

I know the idea of gas station food may not seem the most appealing, but be open to giving it a chance. Some of the best food comes from eateries that started inside a gas station.

One place like that already in Lansing is Jose's Cuban Sandwich & Deli located in the gas station at the corner of Pennsylvania and Kalamazoo. Not to mention Taystee's Burgers, which got its start in a gas station in Dearborn and now has 7 locations across Michigan.

Now, Lansing can add another eatery in a gas station to the lineup.

New Eatery on Lansing's Westside

I spotted this new addition on Lansing's westside, near the Delta Crossing shopping complex.

Welcome to Lansing, Sparty Shawarma.

There's no word on when Sparty Shawarma joined the scene, but one thing's for sure... the food looks pretty yummy.

Sparty Shawarma is the third place to open recently in Lansing that serves Mediterranean food. The two others include Big Moe's Kitchen and Middle Eats. Big Moe's Kitchen opened at the end of August, inside the former Ya-Ya's Kitchen. Middle Eats opened in the former Lefty's Cheesesteaks at the beginning of September.

It's always nice to see a new place open, especially since Lansing has seen a bunch of closures over the last few years!
