East Lansing Gets a New Starbucks with Drive-Thru and Parking

The latest coffee shop has opened its doors in East Lansing.

The greater Lansing area has seen a ton of growth occur this year when it comes to different eateries, cafes, and restaurants opening their doors. Now, there's a new spot with open doors.

The familiar coffee chain Starbucks has opened its latest location.

Where to Find the New Starbucks

The newest Starbucks can be found on Grand River Avenue in East Lansing, right next door to Trader Joe's. It took over the former Bank of America building that was there.

This new location is kind of in replacement of the original East Lansing spot that closed at the end of August this year. The employees from the original location transferred to this new one, too.

If you haven't been to the newest location, the biggest changes include the fact that there is a good amount of free parking, plus a drive-thru. One slight downside that I did notice when visiting the location is that if you're trying to turn left from the parking lot, you might be waiting for a while before it's clear. Since that Starbucks is next to a traffic light, Trader Joe’s, and Whole Foods, it’s a particularly busy area.

More New Restaurants Coming to East Lansing

This new addition is one of many to East Lansing. RJ's Burgers & Ice Cream is coming to town, as well as Fat Boy's Pizza and a different coffee chain called Foxtail Coffee Co. If you're excited about all these places opening, there are even more on the horizon, check it out HERE.
