With Michigan State football kicking off, lots of fans will be attending the game. And for those fans 21 years and older that are interested in buying a drink, things are going to look a little different inside Spartan Stadium this season.

Alcohol Sales at Spartan Stadium

This season marks the third year that Michigan State University has had alcohol sales at events. Previously, it could only be brought on campus and consumed during tailgating.

Now, those looking to get a drink will have even more places to choose from, as MSU has expanded concessions.

When alcohol first became available to be purchased at football games, the university ran concessions. This year, they've given that responsibility over to a Chicago-based sports and entertainment hospitality company called Levy.

Tailgating on Munn Field Is Back!

Not only that, but for the first time since 2018 MSU will allow tailgating on Munn Field where there will be vendors there selling alcohol and food.

Another change to food and drink at football games is that there are increased numbers of concession stands selling alcohol. Hopefully, this will lead to shorter wait times all around.
