With Halloween right around the corner, there are lots and lots of fun (and sometimes scary) activities to take part in. And this weekend is no exception!

Fall is full of so many awesome activities: apple and pumpkin picking, regaling friends with local urban legends, collecting candy, dressing up in costume... and the list goes on.

If you want to take the kids to something fun this weekend, Downtown Lansing has just the thing for you; Scare on the Square!

This event is being hosted by Capital Hippie, and aims to not only give people something fun to do this Halloween season, but to help the community and businesses in Downtown Lansing as well.

There are going to be over 65 local art vendors with booths set up, plus...

  • live music
  • local food and food trucks
  • live art
  • fire dancers
  • a photo booth

If you'd like to participate and have fun in spooktacular fashion in Downtown Lansing, this Saturday is your chance.

Scare on the Square will take place this Saturday, October 12th from 3 to 9 pm. Will it does not say that costumes are required, I would assume that they are highly encouraged. And honestly, who doesn't want to get the most bang for their buck when it comes to their costumes? Especially kids costumes, because we all know that they'll never wear them ever again.
