Summer in Michigan is the time of year to soak up as much of that outdoor fun as possible. And I'm not trying to rush the summer along at all, but the kids are heading back to school soon, and that means that Michiganders need to start thinking about the fact that fall is around the corner.

Fall is going to be here before you know it, and with that in mind, it's about to be that time... literally. Daylight Saving Time.

When Does Daylight Saving Time End in Michigan?

Like it does every fall, Daylight Saving Time is ending (and no, it's not Daylight Savings Time). And just like that old saying goes, "spring forward, fall back", as we indeed going to fall back.

All of Michigan observes Daylight Saving Time, so we'll all be changing our clocks at some point that day. Are you a change them before you go to sleep person? Or do you change them when you wake up? Or maybe everything you own has the technology to update itself?

Regardless of whether or not it's you or technology that changes the time on the clock, here's when to mark your calendar;

Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday, November 3rd at 2 am. After that, Michigan is back on Standard Time and we "gain" an hour of sleep. And for pet owners, we get to hear our animals whine for about an hour everyday around feeding time for the next week or so.

Will this be the last time we observe Daylight Saving Time? Perhaps... but only time will tell. But I will say, there's a reason why Daylight Saving Time is jokingly called the "Devil's Delay".
