There is a massive recall hitting Michigan right now, revolving around a popular drink product that were sold here at Michigan stores. The concerns come from a possible Listeria outbreak, which has caused illnesses in 38 people, and 11 deaths across 21 states her in the United States.

Warning: Massive Recall Hits Popular Michigan Drink
The brand Cisco Imperal, best known for their frozen shakes, as well as Lyons ReadyCare, are issuing a recall with the Food and Drug Administration, after they found a listeria contamination in their products.
The products were distributed to multiple nursing homes and healthcare facilities in over 21 states, including here in the state of Michigan.
Warning: Major Biscuit Recall Hitting Michigan
The CDC, believes that this outbreak, goes back to strains from 2018. So far, 37 people have been hospitalized for many of the symptoms known with Listeria, such as nausea, diarrhea, fever and confusion and convulsions.
What is Listeria?
Listeria is a bacteria, that can cause an infection known as listeriosis, when consumed. Typically listeria comes from product consumption from contaminated foods. Listeria is most lethal in pregnant women, the elderly, newborns, or those with weakened immune systems.
Symptoms of Listeria include, fever, muscle aches, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. In severe cases, it can cause headaches, stiff neck, confusion, and convulsions. Listeria can be life threatening too, even causing sepsis.
If you have the affected product, you are urged to throw it away immediately, or return it to the place of purchase for a full recall.
