Inside an Abandoned $10,000 House in Detroit
This old house in Detroit was a Land Bank house; when it sold, there was no way to get in: not even a key was given to the new owner. Nope – he had to rely on breaking in.
Cutting off the padlock was the best way to get in.
Looking around inside this dilapidated house, it was obvious there had been a fire inside that is believed to have weakened the backside, making it collapse.

The basement did not have a staircase anymore, and with damp, weakened floors, there was no way a trip down there was made.
The house is believed to have had around six bedrooms – unusual for its size – and two bathrooms.
So, the question: why did this house sell for only $10,000? According to Sanborn Construction Group, renovation for just windows and the roof would be around $30,000. And that’s just a start. That five-figure selling price will be upped to a six-figure when the refurbishing and repairing is completed.
Houses like this sell at super-low prices all the time, but the cost of repair is out of this world.....worth it or not? Scroll down to the gallery below and take a look inside.....
