In 2023 for Halloween, the thing that got me in the mood and the spirit for the season was the release of the Netflix series Fall of the House of Usher. The classic Edgar Allan Poe work is one of my favorites, and the show did an amazing job intertwining many of Edgar Allen Poe's works into the show.

This year a pop-up speakeasy all themed around Edgar Allan Poe is making its way to Michigan and will be posted up in one of the most iconic buildings in Kalamazoo. The pop-up speakeasy will be located at Henderson Castle between October 10 and October 12.
