When Will We See Our First Snowfall in Michigan?

I think fall is just about the most popular season of the year with the cooler, crisp air, changing color of the leaves, football, and so much more.
But, we do begin thinking about winter and when will we see our first snowfall. That first one is always pretty and fun, right?
This year we may wait awhile, though. Our temperatures have been above normal lately, although cooler and more comfortable for sure. Are we going to have to wait for long?
I wrote about this a bit ago, and I'm going to have to adjust the original prediction since warmer weather continues to be predicted throughout October and November.
Hmmmm, what do we do now?
MSN.com says that the Farmers Almanac has revised their winter prediction. The 208th edition of the Farmers' Almanac, out now, foresees a "Wet Winter Whirlwind" for the upcoming 2024-25 winter season. "It definitely looks more wet than white in many areas."
According to our sister station, 99.1 WFMK, The Weather Channel says snowflakes may hold off until early to mid-November for cities like Marquette and Sault Ste. Marie, but it could wait to make an appearance as late as December.
Where does that leave us in the Lower Peninsula?
It could be that we might not see any measurable snow until closer to Thanksgiving or early December, 99.1 WFMK says.
Then we may see a big shift in December, according to the Farmers Almanac.
They stressed that a weak La Nina pattern is expected, which brings the possibility of a colder than average winter for most of the northern United States, including Michigan. This could mean early onset of bitter cold by December, especially for the Upper Peninsula.
I guess I don't have to worry about getting my snow blower ready early this year.
