Growing up as a kid in Michigan I didn't get the chance to take the long drive up 1-75 to see the Mackinac Bridge until I was an adult but it was worth the wait.

An annual Mackinac Bridge Walk is held every Labor Day where two lanes of traffic are closed and 50-80,000 people walk together over the bridge.
