Michigan’s Biggest Celebrities Showed Up To Support The Detroit Lions Sunday Night
The Detroit Lions are the underdog team to watch this season, and last night they played their second playoff game at Ford Field against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Lions won 31-23 over the Buccaneers, and we could give credit to the incredible support they received from their fan base.
This is the first time since 1992 that they've made it this far into the season, and tons of Michigan's favorite celebrities showed up to cheer on, and later celebrate, the Lions.
Here are photos and videos of some of Michigan's favorite famous people (and some transplant fans) that showed up at Ford Field on Sunday night.
Jeff Daniels and Peyton Manning
This duo has been trying to break the Lion's curse all season long, so naturally they showed up to help cheer the Lions on in their second home playoff game.
Bob Seger
The 'Old Time Rock 'N Roll' legend naturally made an appearance to root on his hometown team, and he's looking GREAT!
Governor Gretchen Whitmer
Big Gretch has been a loudly proud Lions fan all season long, and she posted several shots from her seats of her taking some time off to enjoy the game at Ford Field.
Flavor Flav
He's not a Michigan native, but he's been showing up and showing out for the Detroit Lions lately, so we'll take him as one of our own either way.
Barry SandersCalvin Johnson Jr
Megatron also returned to root on the Lions. (Do you think he can come back and help them clinch the win?)
Chad Smith
The Red Hot Chilli Peppers drummer was born in Minnesota and raised in Michigan, and last week he played an epic drum roll to cheer on the Lions. Will we get a new song if they make it to the Super Bowl?
EminemAnother one of Michigan's most famous musicians, Eminem has been loudly cheering on the Lions. He showed up to yesterday's game with his daughter and made the Jumbotron
Taylor LautnerThe Grand Rapids native and Twilight star made another appearance in his amazing custom-made Lions jacket
An absolutely amazing showing of Michigan celebrities came to cheer the Lions on to victory... now, will they make it to San Fransisco next week to root them on to an NFC championship? Here's hoping.
