Beer is big in the Mitten State, so it's likely it's crossed your mind to get into the brewing business. Well, here's your shot!

A "well established" brewery complete with upstairs living space is up for sale!

OpenRoad Brewery Dowtown Wayland, Mich. has hit the market.

OpenRoad first opened at 128 S. Main Street in Wayland in 2016. It's described as a "downtown staple" and "wonderfully cozy". It was also voted the best beer and chicken of 2022. Looks like a ton of great burgers on the menu too!

The entire business is up for sale, including assets, equipment, inventory, recipes and licensing for OpenRoad Brewery operating under Wayland Brewing Co. LLC.

The new owners will also acquire a generously sized two-bed, two-bath downtown apartment with outside entrance and great views of the city.

Also included in the sale are eight parking spots and the oldest standing building in downtown Wayland, which is currently used as storage for the summer patio equipment used for outdoor dining.

The current owner shared the news of the sale to Facebook saying,

This is Bruce, and I own the OpenRoad Brewery in downtown Wayland. I am ready to retire so the brewery and building are for sale. Wayland is a great community with a lot going on. The area is going to see a lot of growth in the next several years. The brewery is well established with great customers and amazing beers. The kitchen kicks out a lot of Smash Burgers, Fried Chicken and Paninis. If you always wanted to be your own boss this might be for you.
