This Michigan Restaurant Named One of the Best ‘Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives’ in U.S.

With his popular Food Network show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, celebrity chef and restaurateur Guy Fieri highlights the best small, independent eateries featuring traditional comfort foods, regional styles, or ethnic specialties.

Food publication Delish sought to find the top must-try Triple D spot in each state.

Their pick for Michigan's top restaurant where the show has filmed?

The Fly Trap in Ferndale, Mich.

The restaurant opened in 2004 at 22950 Woodward Ave.

At the Fly Trap you'll find tons of egg dishes, waffles, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and specialities like Vietnamese Pho Bowls, fried rice, and crab cakes.

There's also a full bar. Plus The Fly Trap makes its own in-house sauces and jams that you can buy and take home!

In addition to being on Triple D, the restaurant was also named The Best Breakfast in Michigan by Food Network Magazine.

The Fly Trap was featured on season two of Diner's Drive-In's and Dives on an episode called "Off the Hook Specials", which aired in January 2008.

When Guy visited The Fly Trap, he had high praise for the Red Chili Salmon Burger.
