
Lions Face Chargers In Hall Of Fame Game Tonight
The Detroit Lions kick off the NFL preseason with the Hall of Fame Game against the San Diego Chargers in Canton, Ohio.
New coaches, new players, injured players who are healthy, there will be lots to watch on the Lions NFL preseason opener.
What is the Hall of Fame Game?
The first preseason game of the NFL season is called the Hall of Fame Game. The game is played at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio, which is adjacent to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame Game marks the beginning of the NFL preseason and the festivities surrounding the Hall of Fame induction ceremony. The league will often select teams that have players who will be a part of this year's Hall of Fame class.

Unfortunately, the Detroit Lions do not have a player entering this years Hall of Fame class, but the San Diego Chargers have Antonio Gates who will be inducted.
Detroit Lions Take On Chargers In Canton Showdown
The Lions will face off against the Chargers in the first NFL preseason game for the Hall of Fame Game in Canton. Tonight will be the first look at new offensive coordinator and new defensive coordinator Kelvin Sheppard and the teams new schemes. Head coach Dan Campbell is still driving the bus but it will be interesting to see the new coaches styles and how the players react to it.
It will be great to see Aidan Hutchinson back on the field as well as getting a look at some of the new defensive and offensive players that have been added to the team as they compete for a spot on the final roster.
It will be interesting to see what Campbell and the Lions have in store for the fans this season, but we all know what the fans want, and that's a trip to the Super Bowl.
