Kirk Cousins Opening Youth Sports Training Facility in GR
Former Michigan State and current Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins is giving back to the youth of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Locally, you may know more about Kirk Cousins when he played football for Holland Christian High School in Holland, Michigan. Cousins wrapped up his high school career with 3,204 passing yards and 40 touchdowns.
After high school, Cousins was drafted as quarterback for the Michigan State Spartans. Cousins would eventually lead the Spartans to an 11-2 season in 2010. In 2011, Cousins played in the first-ever Big Ten Football Championship. During Cousins's tenure at MSU, the Spartans beat their rivals the University of Michigan Wolverines 4 straight games.

Cousins was drafted into the NFL by the Washington Redskins where he started as a backup and would later become the starting quarterback. Cousins played the 2012-2017 seasons with the Redskins before signing with the Minnesota Vikings where he has been the quarterback ever since. Cousins made the Pro Bowl 4 times and won an NFC North Title, but no matter what achievements he has made, he has always found time in Michigan to do some good at his former high school, college, and area local charities and he continues to give back.
Kirk Cousins Opening Youth Sports Training Facility in Grand Rapids
Cousins has partnered with ETS Performance, a leading provider of innovative youth sports performance training programs, to open two new training facilities in Michigan. The first will open in Grand Rapids on March 1, and the second in Kalamazoo on March 8.
The purpose of this new facility is to allow young athletes between the ages of 8 and 18 to enhance their athletic skills. Students would work with top-notch coaches, receive personalized training plans, and have access to professional training equipment, so kids have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
