Michigan State throttled Western Kentucky on Saturday night. Transfer king pin sensation Kenneth Walker III had another stellar game.

Walker is the leading rusher in all of college football. In order to have 2,000 rushing yards for the season, Walker will need to rush for about 1,320 yards over State’s remaining games.

I was talking with the guys I do the tailgate show with and they acted like I was out of my mind talking Heisman Trophy with Walker III as a possible contender. One of my partners with the tailgate show said Walker might not even be first-team All-Big Ten. I’m was thinking, "are you kidding me?" This guy could play in the NFL as we speak.

I’m not putting the cart before the horse either. Like I said, he is the top rusher in all college football and is averaging 130 plus yards a game. Now, don’t get me wrong, he has to be out of his mind and stay healthy the entire season. Out of his mind means just play great football every game. This can be done.

I really hope Walker shuts a lot of naysayers down. This guy is a special talent. If you think he’s a flash in the pan, you're of moronic stature! All we can do is wait and see how he plays against better competition too.

But really, why couldn’t Kenneth Walker III win the Heisman if everything falls into place?
