It’s a Good Day to Make Sure Your Sump Pump is Working
So, how about those storms last night/early this morning? Ugh. I lost track on how many times the storms woke me up. If you were able to sleep right through them, there were some thunderstorms with some heavy rainfall that moved through our area overnight. I'm pretty sure that they started at around 2:30 am and ended around 5 am. (I was trying to sleep with the early part of the storms, so I could be off a little bit on the time.)
Since we got A LOT of rain overnight, if you're headed out this morning, you're going to want to make sure that your sump pump is hanging in there. And if you're 'Staying Home & Staying Safe' again today, you can keep busy by keeping tabs on your sump pump because the National Weather Service has issued a Flood Advisory that's in effect until around 2:30 pm today. Some of the locations that could see some flooding today include Lansing, Charlotte, Mason, Eaton Rapids, Grand Ledge, Williamston and Potterville. Click here to find out more about the Flood Advisory. And just so you know, there's some more rain in the forecast for Saturday night and Sunday, too.
