We read all of the time that this restaurant is better than this other restaurant. I feel this is all a bunch of hype. I mean in this day in age, everyone has pretty good food. I mean people are saying this place has great pizza, tacos, hamburgers, salads, soups and on and on. I’m not trying to be harsh, but all of these dining establishments have very good food.

What I want to stress is support your local businesses all the time. Wherever it is in mid-Michigan. I mean it sometimes gets to the point it sounds like my dad can beat up your dad. If this place has great nachos, I’m sure other places have just as good nachos. My point is if someone likes their food and raves about it, someone might like another place just as well. It’s all a matter of opinion.

I see this locally and nationally all of the time. I put stock in what I like and what my wife likes. But I do respect what other people’s input is. It just gets to a point where I’m ready to scream! This place has the best whatever. How do you know that? Is it just because another person says it?

I’m going against the grain but I feel the main subject matter is support your local business. All of these restaurants, pubs, bars, diners, and grills all have outstanding food. I take other things under consideration like cleanliness, service, attitudes, and all around just a solid venue to go to.

One thing in this day and age everyone is very picky on food they order. Not even at their own homes are they that picky. Hey I get it, the customer pays good hard money for a meal. You expect a good hot meal loaded up. But sometimes for whatever reason it doesn’t happen. People get irate and say “I’m never coming here again.” Well, if it happens again or a third time I agree. People just have to lighten up in this area of eating out.

All places in my books are worth going to and trying. You never know, you might fall in love with the place.
